Massive voter turnout leaves IEC reeling
An estimated 80.2 percent of registered voters swamped the country’s polling stations on Wednesday in a massive turnout that could rival the 1994 elections in size and significance. HOWEVER, the festive atmosphere that prevailed at most of the polling stations was marred by a series of problems that hit a number of voting centres across the country.
