India Elections - Three EVMs are required to fit in 36 candidates’ names

Three EVMs are required to fit in 36 candidates’ names:

As Pune Lok Sabha election has 36 contestants, the district election officer has to reschedule requirements for EVMs. As each ballot unit can accommodate only 16 names, three units would be needed at each polling booth. This has shot up the demand for EVMs by 3,106 units. Besides, an additional polling officer will be appointed at each centre.

[This could be an interesting twist on the secret ballot!]
