State legislators may soon decide whether to change Michigan election laws to allow local clerks to transmit ballots electronically to members of the military overseas.
State Rep. Vincent Gregory, D-Southfield, said he plans to propose legislation that, in part, would allow absentee ballots to be electronically mailed or faxed, giving military men and women overseas more time to mail back their votes.
